What Type Of Shower Do You Want?

Visually seeing the differences between framed, semi-framed and frameless can help you determine which type you have envisioned.

  • Framed showers have a metal trim around each side of the glass.
  • Semi-Frameless showers leave the glass freestanding on one or more sides. The metal trim covers only a portion of the glass border.
  • Frameless is just as it sounds, without a metal frame! This can produce a sleek, modern look.

How will your shower open?

Another crucial point of designing a custom shower is the opening. This functional part of your shower can set the tone for your entire bathroom.

  • Swinging doors are one of the most common entryways, especially if you have a vertical single space shower.
  • Sliding are a great way to enclose a shower space. This common opening can be added to existing showers or included in your new design.
  • Rolling door showers make a statement! The smooth rolling door slides using rollers to move your shower door back and forth.
  • Panel openings are stationary, providing a gap in your shower that allows you to enter without fully enclosing the space.
